DS Get

DS Get (Windows Phone)

The DS Get allows you to access Download Stations from Windows® Phones remotely: You can view, create, or delete download tasks directly from the application. Managing basic settings such as transfer speed limits or activating advanced schedules is also possible. DS get is also integrated with an inbuilt web browser for user convenience.

Before using DS get, make sure you have installed DSM and Download Station on your Synology NAS. The basic configuration must be managed from a computer with access to the Download Station, such as setting up or modifying an advanced download schedule.

The following are the minimum requirements: The Windows Phone 8 operating system, entry and exit, to enter DS get: When you open DS get, enter your user credentials on the login page. In the Address or QuickConnect ID field, enter one of the following: The IP address or DDNS host name of your Synology server.

Your Synology server's QuickConnect ID (this will avoid having to reconnect when moving between home and external networks). Make sure you have activated the service for DS in Control Panel> QuickConnect. You can also select incoming information from your login history list or DiskStations available on the LAN (with the Download Station enabled) by flicking left to History or LAN.

Make your choice by tapping NAS Synology. To use a one-time password: When 2-step verification is activated for your account or imposed by an admin on DSM (6.0 and above), you must enter this Synology mobile application with your user credentials and a 6-digit code taken from Google Authenticator or other application authenticator for safe access.

When 2-step verification is enabled on DSM (6.0 and above), your mobile device can be remembered for a comfortable and safe login: For your device to be remembered, select Trust this device on the login page. Your device will be remembered for 30 days; if you log in again in the period of validity, your device will be remembered for 30 days.

To stop trusting the device, open DSM> Options> Account> Account Activity> Trusted Devices and click Cancel Other Devices. For exit DS, get: Tap then tap Logout. Enter DSM as an admin (or user belonging to the administrator group) and activate your access rights to the Download Station (in Control Panel> Privileges) if you cannot log in with your user credentials.

Turn on HTTPS if you want your connection to be encrypted SSL / TLS. Before doing so, make sure the HTTPS service is activated in Control Panel> Network> DSM Settings on your Synology server. To make the connection easier, you can enter Login Settings by tapping the login page and setting the DS to remember your Synology NAS IP address and your username or password.

You can activate the option Let me stay logged in if you want to log in automatically every time you start DS. To delete an entry from the login history, touch and hold the item and select Delete. All login history can be deleted by selecting Delete all history in the action menu. If you exit DS without going out, it will save your login information and log in automatically the next time you start getting DS.

Looking DS Get for Online Torrent

Search Torrent is an easy tool for finding torrents using keywords, and downloading them directly, without the need to use a web browser or copy-paste the torrent URL. To search and filter results: Flick to BT Search, and then enter your keyword to search. In the results list, you will be able to: See basic information, especially file names, torrent sizes, and number of seeds and peers.

See detailed information about torrents, such as websites and upload times. Tap to filter your search results by torrent category: books, games, music ... Tap to sort your search results: this allows you to change the criteria for ordering your torrent, such as by size, number of seeds or colleagues, when uploading.

The number of seeds is how many users have completed the download and will share it with you. Torrents with a high number of seeds will be downloaded quickly. The number of peers is the total number of users who have completed downloads (eg Seeds) and who are currently downloading (i.e. leeches).

By comparing the number of seeds and partners, you can determine the number of leeches and see which torrent should be downloaded faster. The torrent category is read from the website itself, and may differ from different BT searches in DS Get.
